Just a quick note to clarify the confusion that some of you seem to have. Carson Yeung, the person, does NOT own BCFC. BCFC is owned by BIH, the company, of which Yeung is a large shareholder. Carson Yeung, the person, cannot sell BCFC without the agreement of the other shareholders in BIH. What is likely is that other shareholders in BIH will start to buy Yeung's shares in BIH in order to take the controlling stake in BIH. Thus, BCFC accounts are NOT Carson Yeung accounts. BCFC are currently operating in the black - that is we have money in the bank. There is currently NO DANGER OF BIRMINGHAM CITY GOING INTO ADMINISTRATION. |

Southampton went into administration because the parent company went bust. The club has had its overdraft withdrawn. Why would the bank do that unless there are concerns about the clubs ability to repay it? So the club need to keep in credit and pay all of their bills on time. That will undoubtedly mean more players sold to keep us afloat. None of us know the depth of the problem, but all the signs do not look good. My major gripe is that we have no money to strengthen the squad, and any quality we have will continue to be stripped away, making us weaker. |

It would be nice to get some answers from Pannu on how we have ended up in this mess. BIH/Yeung, call it what you like, have destroyed our club. |

I didn't see it. No way I am doing a 300+ miles round-trip when I have work the next day. From what I gather, we look a side who have been decimated, running on empty, and played too many games. In January, the fire-sale will continue and the depth and quality will become even more sparse. Oh well, we'll still have Zigic. |

I think you are right, I can't see us at this stage going into administration, we could well limp along for a couple of seasons. I think the truth is BCFC is starting to live within it means, a lot of people go on about clubs only spending what we can afford, I think this is where we are. Player purchases will be based on ticket sales, cup runs etc etc. The problem is with BIH, the company is still not trading and that has a certain amount of debt in it (a tiny amount compared to what happened to Portsmouh etc). If the people, funds within the company can service those debts or if they don't get called in, then nothing will change. Been reading on Often that Carson has put at least 16m and remortgaged his own home to invest in us, bring in the likes of Zig, Hleb, Bentley and the likes. It explains his face the day we got relegated, he put 20m on red and in came in black. Can't see anyone throwing away that kind of money, BIH could be sold but only at the right price. Its those two scenarios or BIH goes under and we do fall into administration, reading who the share holders are though, and the level of debt we are in, I can't see that happening in the short term. I think a sale or take over if far more likely, it just depends on if the majority share holder can afford to hold out for a few years. More in the hope we might get promoted and BCFC becomes a far more valuable commodity or just his to cut losses. |

Starting to live within our means, I can't see him being around for much longer and we couldn't move him on in the last window because he was injured. |
